Born in Belgium to German parents, my early years were marked by a multicultural upbringing that laid the foundation for a global perspective. At the tender age of five, life's unpredictable winds led me to the captivating shores of Mallorca, Spain—a place that would become my beloved home for many years to come.
In Mallorca, I found myself immersed in a world of athletic endeavors. Fueling my love for sports, I delved into football, track and field, and cycling. The latter, in particular, held a special place in my heart, as it echoed the legacy of my father—a professional cyclist who inspired me to follow in his two-wheeled footsteps.
Amidst the vibrant sports culture, another passion began to take root within me—advertising and public relations. It was during an internship at the professional football team, TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, that I witnessed the captivating power of effective communication in the realm of sports. This revelation sparked a fire within me, and I knew that my future lay in the realm of storytelling and strategic messaging.
As destiny would have it, my path crossed with that of a camera. Captivated by its ability to freeze moments in time, to evoke emotions, and to immortalize the beauty around me, I found myself falling headlong into the captivating world of photography. This newfound love became a companion as I embarked on my academic journey, pursuing a degree in Advertising and Public Relations in the beautiful and ancient city of Tarragona, Spain.
Now, I find myself in the midst of an exciting chapter—an internship with the esteemed professional cycling team, EF Education Easy-Post. Surrounded by the energy, dedication, and sheer determination of these athletes and people, I am continually inspired to capture their stories through my lens. It is within this symbiotic convergence of my passions for sports, photography, and communication that I stand today, ready to make my mark in the world.
